KILFLYNN COMMUNITY CLEAN UP
Due to the Orange Weather warning given down for Co. Kerry on Saturday 21st October, the Kilflynn Community Clean-up day was postponed until Saturday 4th of November from 10am to 12 noon. Tell your friends, and neighbours. Bring the children. Bags and pickers will be provided. Let's keep our village and surrounding areas clean. Great for the environment and our wildlife.

ACTIVE RETIRED
GROUP Meeting in Abbeydorney, Wednesday 1st November, in the Community Hall from 1pm to 4pm. Light exercise, entertainment and a four course meal, all for only €10. New members are always welcome.
A Free Bus Service will collect people from their homes to Abbeydorney Community Hall, every second Wednesday. It can be used for access to the Active Retired, Doctors, local shops, chemist etc. Please contact Kerry Links, if you wish to avail of this service on 1890 528528.
Tea Party in Listowel Plaza Hall on Sunday 5th November at 2.00pm costing €10. There will be a mini Fashion Show, raffle prizes etc. A FREE bus will be available from Abbeydorney Community Hall, contact 066 7135831 and please bring €5.00 deposit on Wednesday, 1st November.

Those who wish a family member/friend, who died outside the parish, to be included in the list at the Masses for those who died during the year are invited to put their names on the page provided in both churches this weekend.

KERRY HURLING ALL STARS
The Kerry Hurling All Stars took place in The Railway Bar in Lixnaw on Saturday 28th October. The Kerry Hurling All Stars is organised by Mike O'Halloran to honour the club hurlers of Kerry and their families. Special Guests on the night were Johnny Bunyan, Ballyduff and John Lucid, Ballyheigue. Congratulations to the players who received All Star awards including Crotta Hurler Sean Weir. Congratulations also to Padraig Boyle who was Player of the Year and Shane Conway, Young Player of the Year.
U-21 HURLING
Crotta U-21 Hurlers advanced to the semi-final of the County Championship with a 1-11 to 0-08 victory over a gallant Ballyduff side on bank holiday Monday 30th October in Ballyduff. Crotta play Abbeydorney/Ballyheigue on Saturday 4th November at 8.00p.m in Abbeydorney.

Location of Vacancy: Crotta GAA Club
Duties: General Maintenance and upkeep of the GAA Pitch and Grounds at Crotta GAA Club to include grass cutting, pitch maintenance, lining, weed spraying, re-sodding etc. Caretaking duties to include Minor repairs, painting, litter collection, cleaning and tidying etc.
Qualifying Criteria: To qualify for the position a person must be over 21 years of age and must be in receipt of a Social Welfare payment for 12 months or more.

CROTTA LOTTO RESULTS
The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the Independent observer, Tim O’Halloran, Fear an Flainn, Kilflynn on Monday 30th October in Parker’s Pub , Kilflynn were 15,17,22 and 24. There was No winner of €3,000 Jackpot. The following won €35 in the lucky dip draw: John O’Mahony, Leith, Tralee, P.J Twomey, Crotta, and Patrick O’Sullivan, Garrynagore, Lixnaw. The next draw will take place in Herbert’s Bar, Kilflynn on Monday 6th November with a 3,100 Jackpot. DARTS
The winners of the weekly doubles darts tournament in Parker's Bar on Saturday 21st October were Paddy Weir and Greg Leahy who defeated John Leahy and Eileen Brennan in the final. 10 dart players participated. The winners received some Certified Irish Angus Beef each. There was no darts on Saturday 28th November.
The next darts doubles tournament takes place on Saturday night 4th November at 10.30p.m in Parker's lounge Bar. The winners will received some Certified Irish Angus Beef each. Names MUST be in for 10.15 p.m. NO Names after this Time. First game of the Tournament must start at 10.30p.m.

The Kilflynn Toddler group commenced on the Thursday 14th September from 10:30am to 12 noon, and willl meet up every Thursday thereafter, excluding school holidays.
Brownies are back since Thursday 21st September from 7pm to 8:30pm and every Thursday thereafter excluding school holidays.
The Story Frog Maria is back on Saturday 23rd September from 11:30am to 12:30pm. Booking is advisable.
Sheena Sexton Boot Camp takes place on Monday and Wednesday nights from 7:15pm to 8:15pm. All fitness levels are welcome.
Ladybirds are resuming on Thursday 5th October between 6pm and 7pm and every Thursday thereafter excluding school holidays.
Tae-Kwon-do classes with Instructor Mike Murphy takes place every Saturday from 4pm.
