ST. MARY’S CHURCH NEWS
Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 13th  November at 7.30p.m Dead of November List
 Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 16th  November at  6.00 p.m. Tracey Shanahan, Kilbricane, Abbeydorney, Mary & Seán McElligott, Stack’s Mountain,Kilflynn and  their sons, John Paul and Jimmy.

TRALEE CBS ARE MUNSTER U-15 CHAMPIONS
Mighty performance and mighty win by Tralee CBS (The Green) Under 15 footballers  in the Corn an Bhrathair Cholim Taft (15 A Football) final in front of a large crowd on Sunday 10th November in Austin Stacks Park on the  final Score of The Green 3:09 to the Sem 1:08. Congratulations to the Crotta players Sean McElligott (wing back)  Ewan O'Sulllivan Donal O'Connell and Calum Ryan who were also members of the victorious panel.
The Crotta Hurling  is extremely proud of your achievement on Sunday
Well done to all the panel and to Marc O’Sé, Liam O’Sullivan and Damien McLoughlin (management).
The game was a curtain-raiser to the County Senior Final between East Kerry and Dr. Crokes. When The footballers of East Kerry will party like it was 1999 after the divisional team claimed its first senior football county championship title in 20 years after dethroning champions Dr Crokes in a thrilling, if one-sided, final. East Kerry 2-14 Dr Crokes 1-07

DART WINNERS
The winners of the doubles darts competition  in Parker's Snug Bar, Kilflynn , on Saturday 9th   November were Tim O’Halloran and J. P Twomey who defeated John Byrne and Darragh Mulvhiill. 
 The winners will receive a Fresh Turkey each. The next darts doubles tournament takes place on Saturday 16th  November at 10.30p.m in Parker's Lounge Bar. The winners of the weekly darts will receive a Fresh Turkey each. All names in for 10.20p.m.

There was No winner of €13,600 Jackpot. The Irish Red Cross will host a charity concert on Friday November 22nd  at 7.30pm in St John’s Church Ashe St. Doors opening at 7pm, tickets €10 & bookings can be made on 087 927 6504.
Christmas Tea Party in the Grand Hotel in Denny St, from 2pm to 6pm. on December 22nd.  Music, tea/ coffee and light refreshments provided. Booking essential. 087 708 8395. Tickets €5 each.

SHINTY/HURLING INTERNATIONAL
The Crotta Hurling Club congratulates Irelands U21s on their 7-11 to 4-2 win over Scotland on Saturday afternoon 2nd November in the Hurling Shinty International played in the Gaa National Games Development Centre in Abbotstown, Dublin. The Crotta Club & Kerry was represented by Barry Mahony and Thomas O'Connor. Well done lads. Kerry was also represented by Shane Conway, Lixnaw who also captained the side,  &  Fionan Mackessy (St Brandans). Well done to all the panel and management from all at @CrottaGAA

SENIOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
Hard luck to the St Brendans Board Senior Football team who put up a spirited fight against East Kerry in the semi-finals of the Garvey's SuperValu County Senior Football Championship on Sunday 27th October in Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney but came up short as they were defeated on a score line of 1-18 to 1-14.The Kilflynn Area was represented on the St.Brendan's panel by Crotta and Kerry Hurler Jordan Conway (St. Pats) and Peter Nammock (John Mitchels) Fearr an Flainn, Kilflynn.

U -21 HURLING FINAL
The Rhyno Quality Feeds North Kerry Under 21 Hurling Championship Final
[Paddy Kelly Cup] due to be played 
On Sunday, 3 November, 2.00p.m. In Lixnaw St. Brendan's v Crotta O'Neill's was postponed as No neutral venue was available due to the bad weather conditions. 

SPLIT THE BUCKET 
The winner of Kilflynn Community Together SPLIT the bucket draw in Zamzam Kebab Restaurant, Kilflynn was Maurice McElligott Upper Tullig, Kilflynn.   Total €408 - Split €204 to the winner.  Harry Laide, Crotta was the independent observer. The winning envelope was bought in Parker's Pub.  Congratulations Maurice. And as always, thank you for your continued support.
Kilflynn Community Together has buckets in Kilflynn business around in Parkers Pub, Herbert's Bar and Zam Zam Kebab.
The concept of the draw is simple, simply place your €2 into the envelope at the venue, write your name and phone on the envelope and you could possibly ‘split the bucket!’
Funds raised will be used for projects that will benefit and improve Kilflynn. Your support is greatly appreciated.
