DANCING IN KILFLYNN
The Dancing resumed again for this season on Monday 7th September at 9.00 pm sharp. In St.Columbas Centre, Kilflynn. And will continued every Monday night at 9.00 p.m. Plenty of fun and exercise guaranteed. All Welcome.

The Crotta U-08 Hurlers and their mentors Donal O'Driscoll and Paul Shanahan who participated in The North Kerry Hurllng Board U-08 blitz in Abbeydorney on Saturday 22nd August and enjoyed a hour of hurling with victories over Abbeydorney Kilmoyley and Ballyheigue.

Kerry U-14 Camogie player, Amy O'Sullivan, Crotta pictured with Galway hurler, Joe Canning at the All-Ireland Junior A Final on Sunday 23rd August in Templetuohy, Tipperary.
The Kerry u14s played in an U14 blitz in The Ragg Borrisileigh they played against Waterford and Tipp they lost to Tipp 1-2 to 1pt and to Waterford by 1-3 to a 1pt.

HURLING RESULTS
Great victories on Friday evening for the Crotta U-12s over Kilmoyley in Lerrig by 5-04 to 0-05, The visitors led by 3-02 to 0-02 at the interval and Crotta U-16 Hurlers had a 2-17 to 1-03 victory over Abbeydorney at the sportsfield, dromakee also on Friday evening.

DARTS
Michelle Quirke and Paud Twomey defeated J.P Twomey and Mike Fealy in the weekly double darts tournament in Parker's Lounge Bar on Saturday 15th August.

CAUSEWAY COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL
School Uniforms for incoming 1st years can be collected at the school this Thursday, 13th August (10.30am to 3pm).
Uniforms for 5th year students can be collected at the school this Friday, 14th August (10.30am to 3pm).
Also, Bus Eireann has notified the school that school buses will not operate until Monday, 31st August. The school will be opening for 1st years on Thursday, 27th and Friday, 28th August (for two half-days) and therefore, students are asked to make their own transport arrangements for those two days.

CROTTA CUL CAMP
Another very successful Kellogg's GAA Cul Camp was held in the Sportsfield, Dromakee, Kilflynn from Monday 3rd to Friday 7th August . Fifty five players attended and all had an enjoyable action-packed and fun-filled week. Congratulations to Amy O'Sullivan who received the Player of the week Award, Amy also won the Skills competition. Congrats and Well done Amy. Thanks to Maurice Leahy, Co-ordinator and his team of Coaches Colm Harty,Julianne O Keeffe, Jason Leahy, Philip Lucid and Patrice Diggins.
Kerry Hurling captain John Griffin and Crotta and Kerry Hurler Shane Nolan brought the Christy Ring Cup to camp on Friday. which was a huge hit among the children.
John, Shane and Colm shared some of their hurling skills tips with the novice players and were inundated with requests to sign their autographs on hurleys and jerseys.

Congratulations to the Kerry Minor hurlers on their win over Kildare in the quarter final of the All-Ireland b Championship on Saturday 1st August on the score of 2-19 to 0-13 in Newbridge. Well done to Crotta players Tomas O’Connor and Colin Browne who on the victories Kerry team. Kerry now play Down in the semi final on Saturday 15th August in Newry.

KERRY U-21 HURLERS
Hard luck to the Kerry U-21 Hurlers who were defeated by Meath in the All-Ireland B Championship in Trim on Saturday 8th August by 2-15 to 1-17.
Tom B McElligott and Paudie Quille were Crotta's representatives on the Kerry panel.

HURLING RESULTS
Congratulations to Crotta Gaa U-10 Hurlers who won group 2 of the North Kerry Hurllng Board U10 Blitz in Ardfert on Saturday morning 25th July with victories over Causeway by 5-04 to 0-02 and Lixnaw Coiste Na NOg by 5-04 to 1-00. Well done to the Crotta players and their manager Dermot Ryan.
County U-12 Hurling League Div 2 phase 2, round 2, Crotta had a comprehensive victory over Dr.Crokes on Friday evening in the sportsfield dromakee. Crotta are at home to Lixnaw in the next round.
Crotta u-14 hurlers got their north kerry campaign off on a winning note with a 4-13 to 0-06 victory over Ballyheigue on Tuesday evening 28th July. Crotta are home to Abbeydorney in the next round.
