What can we say to summarize a truly memorable musical weekend in the village.
JOHNNY CASH TRIBUTE SHOW
After weeks of negotiations with the Johnny Cash Management team Kilflynn Community together staged two hugely successful nights with the spirit of Johnny Cash tribute show on Friday 25th and 26th November in St. Columbas Centre, Kilflynn,
Both nights were sold out with many people disappointed at missing out on tickets.
Johnny Cash(Fergus O’Sullivan) performed a selection of the legendry performers hits alongside his wife June Carter(Patrice O’Connor) and supported by the Band the Real Deal.
Patrons were hugely impressed with the standard of the show which was produced to the highest of standards with everyone complimenting the standard of the performance, sound quality, lighting and venue. We would like to sincerely thank Fergus who gave so generously of his time putting the show together ,Patrice and The Real Deal Band members of Robert Quinlan, Andrew Moran and Keiren Sheehy.
We would also like to thank the local businesses that sponsored our door prizes: Herberts Bar/Shop, Parkers Bar, John Joe O’Sullivan, All Seasons Florists, Primms and John Gleasure.
Finally we would like to thank all those who helped out over the weekend to organize and stage the shows.
The concerts were held to help finance the tidy up that has been carried out by Kilflynn Community Together at the Kilflynn/Tralee junction and all the support we received over the weekend is greatly appreciated.
