COME ON YOU BOYS IN GREEN
St.Brendans Park FC players, Gavin Parker, Sean McGrath, Matt Healy and Ryan Guerin, Kilflynn enjoying the atmosphere at Aviva Stadium on Monday Night 16th November.

A NIGHT TO REMEMBER FOR JAMES AND DANNY
On a truly memorable night for Irish soccer, Two Kilflynn lads shared the spotlight with the boys in green at the
Aviva Stadium, Dublin during the course of Monday night’s (16th Nov)dramatic Euro16 play-off.
While Martin O’Neill was giving his team the half-time pep talk, as they set about overpowering a fancied Bosnia Herzegovina, a squad of young players that brought the All-Ireland under 14 crown back to Kerry for the first time took centre stage.
The Kingdom’s 2015 Kennedy Cup heroes and their management received a rousing ovation when they paraded the trophy at the interval and they were absolutely thrilled to be part of one of the greatest nights in Irish soccer history. It was Great honour for Kilflynn lads, James Sheehan, who was a vital member of the historic Kerry team, also
Danny Diggins who was part of the coaching and backroom staff who had the boys superbly prepared for the tournament. Both James and Danny are members of St Brendans Park Fc, Tralee.
Last June, Kerry sent shock waves reverberating through Irish football when they beat raging favourites, the Dublin Schooboys League, 1-0 in the Kennedy Cup decider. Well done lads.
The Kilflynn area was well represented at the Match as Ireland booked their place at Euro 2016.
