KILFLYNN CANCER SUPPORT GROUP ANNUAL TABLE QUIZ
Are you thinking of supporting a Cancer Charity this Christmas? Then why not support the Kilflynn Cancer Support Group, which is holding its annual table quiz during the Christmas season. The event itself takes place on Saturday night, December 28th at 9pm and, as usual, will be a simulcast between Parker’s Pub and Herbert’s Bar. Conor and Daragh Breen will help with the questions and provide musical entertainment. The quiz has been an annual event since 2004 and for the majority of those years the beneficiaries of our efforts have been Recovery Haven, Kerry Hospice and Kerry Cancer Support. We will continue to support these worthy charities again this year. As well as being a great fundraiser, the quiz has become an integral part of Christmas celebrations in Kilflynn, with local families returning each year. The fun filled quiz night is not all about answering questions, as there are numerous auctions and raffles, for which the organizers would be grateful to receive any donations. Maybe you could ask a business you regularly deal with for some item that we might raffle or sell on the night. For example, vouchers are particularly useful as the buyer can then purchase what they themselves might like. Also, if you have any unwanted presents don’t put them in the attic; give them to us to raise much-needed funds for our charities. If interested please contact John Flaherty on (087) 2352753. Any donations can be handed in to Parker’s Pub, Herbert’s Bar and shop and Irish Truck and Trailer. Anyone who might like to lend a hand on the night itself please let us know. As always, the organisers thank you for your continued support and look forward to seeing you again on the night!

THANKS
The Abbeydorney/Kilflynn Care Group would like to thank the children, teachers, parents and the staff of  Abbeydorney, Kilflynn and Killahan national schools for kindly supporting Jersey day.

ALL IRELAND JUNIOR A CAMOGIE FINAL
Clanmaurice 1-10
Raharney 2-7
There were dramatic scenes in McDonagh Park in Nenagh on Sunday 24th November as Clanmaurice and Raharney played out a thrilling draw in an AIB All-Ireland Junior A Club Camogie Final that can only be described as a real game of two halves that means there will be a replay next Sunday.
Jessica Fitzell was the last-minute hero for Clanmaurice as she produced a heroic block on a Raharney clearance in the fourth minute of stoppage time, and then followed up by winning possession and splitting the posts from 50 metres out, with two Raharney defenders making despairing efforts to preserve their one-point lead.
Well done to the Crotta players Jackie Horgan, and Aoife Behan their Clanmaurice
team mates and their management team and we wish them all the best in the
