2nd October 2019

CROTTA GAA
The Crotta O’Neills Hurling Club is so grateful for the support received with respect to our main 2019
fundraising event which was held on Saturday 28 th September at The Kingdom Greyhound Stadium, Tralee. It was a huge success and Crotta O’Neills would like to extend its thanks to everyone who braved the wind, the rain and the weather warnings and joined us on the night! The rain even failed to deter the efforts of our Ladies and Gents who made the choice difficult for the judges of the Best
Dressed competitions! Kate Caffrey and Martin Conway were named Best Dressed Winners on the night. Sixteen Raffle Prizes were also sponsored for the Raffle on the night and winners walked away with a fabulous array of treats and prizes.
The Monster Draw for the 1,000 EUR took place on the night – J.P. Hickey, Kilflynn was the lucky winner. Congratulations J.P.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who made this fundraising event so successful. The response we have received from everyone has been overwhelming. Without the support, good wishes and generosity of so many people none of this would have been possible. The local community, our neighbouring communities and communities further afield have been very welcoming. A huge thank you must be extended to our Race Sponsors on the night:
Cisco Wood Ltd.
O’Mahoney Quarries Ltd.
Sonny Egan
Relihan Dismantlers - Car Dismantlers
Brennans Licensed Hauliers
Herbert’s Bar
Diarmuid Brennan Plant Hire & Groundworks
Parker’s Pub
Kingdom Structural Steel Ltd. & Garryowen Transport Ltd.
Mick Brady of Newfield & J.P. Tuomey Plant Hire
Thank you to everyone who took out Sponsorship Ads in the Race Book as well as anyone who contributed donations to the Club. A special thanks to every person who purchased tickets when our Ticket Sellers knocked on your doors both near and far away. The Club was so grateful to everyone who donated all the Prizes for the Raffle on the night. And thank you to all the back room team that may not always be seen: the individuals who organised the Race Sponsors and the Sponsorship Ads in the Race Book, our Ticket Sellers, our Raffle Ticket Sellers on the night, our many Organisers and of course Declan Dowling and his team at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium for their help.
The development of our facilities at Dromakee will continue. Our recent successes and evidence of how well our facilities are looking to date makes us even more determined to continue to improve our facilities for all our current and future players.
Finally, Crotta O’Neills would also like to thank the Club’s official sponsors – Cashell Solicitors who sponsor the Minor Team and Kilflynn Kitchens who sponsor the Coiste na nÓg Teams.
