TODDLER GROUP KILFLYNN
The Kilflynn Toddler Group recommence on Thursday  13th  September and It will run every Thursday  from 10am until 11.30 am in St Columba’s Community Centre, Kilflynn,  There is lots of fun and games to be had by the children allowing the adults some time for coffee and chats.  All new babies, toddlers, parents, grandparents and childminders welcome. U12 A Crotta 1-7 v Ballyheighue 2-3
U12B Crotta lost to a strong older Causeway side
In the  North Kerry U-16 B Championships 3rd round played in Kilmoyley on Sunday 23rd September.    
Crotta 3.11 to Killmoyley 1-09. Crotta led by 1-07 to 1-03 at interval break and now play Lixnaw GAA Club in the final next Sunday.  
St.Senans 2-15 to Brosna 1-14. Congratulations to and well done to St. Senans GAA senior panel & management who were victorious in North  league div 1 final after extra time  in Duagh Gaa on Saturday night.
Crotta Hurlers particapated in Gary Scollard U15 Hurling Tournament (10 a side)  at John Mitchell's Gaa Grounds on Saturday 22nd September.  Crotta drew with Kenmare/ Kilgarvan side on 
The score Crotta 2-05 to Kenmare/Kilgarvan  3-02. And were defeated by  Ballinhassig Cork and St. Brendans,  Ardfert.  Well done to the Crotta Hurlers and their mentors. 
Ballyheigue defeated Ardfert in the final by 
3-11 to  0-6 played in Connolly Park, Tralee. 

ST. MARY’S CHURCH
Mass Will be celebrated on Wednesday 26th September at 10.00a.m

Sheena Sexton's Step and Tone takes place on Mon and Wed nights from 6:15pm to 7pm.  All fitness levels are welcome.  
Tae-Kwon-do classes with Instructor Mike Murphy takes place every Saturday from 4pm.  
New Yoga classes on Wednesday  evenings from 7:15pm to 8:30pm and also on Sat mornings from 10:30am to 11:45am.  All welcome.

DART WINNERS
 The winners of the darts in Parker's Lounge  Bar , Kilflynn on Saturday 22nd September  were Shane Nolan    and Paud Fuller   who defeated Declan Falvey  and Diarmuid McElligott   in the Final. The winners received a leg of lamb each. 
The next darts doubles tournament takes place on Saturday 29th  September  at 10.30p.m in Parker's Lounge   Bar. The winners will receive a leg of lamb each. All names in for 10.20p.m. The Winter Darts league commence this Friday night 21st September.
The Winter Dart league recommended on Friday night 21st September.  Title Holders Parker's Pub "A" Darts team recorded a 6-3 victory at home to Tankers Bar, Listowel in the A League, while Parker's Pub Darts "B" team  were narrowly defeated by  Brodericks Bar , Listowel on the score 5-4 in the B League away. Well done to both Parkers  teams their managers Paud and J.P. also to Tankers and to Brodericks for the sporting games. Parkers B team are at home to O'Connor's of Ballyduff, this Friday night 28th September while Parkers team are to Keanes Bar, Causeway in Round 2 of the league.

Crotta U-21 Hurlers booked their place in the  County U-21 Semi Final with a 3-14 to 0-07 over a gallant St.Brendans side at Ardfert GAA on Saturday 15th September Crotta led 1.09 to 0.03 at halftime.

Feale Rangers 2.10 Castleisland District 1.10
Feale Rangers are Lee Strand U-16 County District Football Championship plate winners after a great display of football by both teams at Austin Stacks Park Tralee on Thursday evening 13th September.  
There was nothing between the teams and the game was level going into injury time. Sean McGrath of Feale Rangers hit the net to seal victory with a three point win and are U-16 Plate Champions. 
Senans players involved Eoin Relihan, Liam Roos, Aodan Behan, Tadgh McKenna, Mikey Kelliher, Sean McGrath, Ryan Guerin and Gavin Parker. John Quilter was a selector with the team. Congratulations and well done everyone Involved in the  sweet victory. The Result from the cup U-16 Final  Mid Kerry 2.18 East Kerry 2.15 played after the Plate Final.

A LANGUAGE AND PLAY PROGRAMME 
aimed at parents & carers of children aged 0-3 years is beginning on Thursday 20th September in St Columbas Centre at 10am. The programme is run over 6 weeks (6 x 90 minute interactive workshops) and encourages parents to interact and play with their children in a positive way to promote and stimulate their child’s language & numeracy development, including increasing their range of words and vocabulary. The programme also promotes a strong healthy relationship with parent and child through fun activities. All welcome. Contact 0860832295 if any further information needed.

MOTHERS PRAYERS
Ardfert/Abbeydorney Group are holding an Open Meeting on Monday 24th  September at 10.00 a.m. in Cúil Mhuire Pastoral Centre, Ardfert.  All mothers, grandmothers and women are invited to come along and pray for the young people in their lives.  Mothers Prayers was founded in 1995 and has now spread to over 100 countries throughout the world.  The prayer meeting will be followed by light refreshments.  All are most welcome.

CAMOGIE
In the final of the 2018 Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Camogie Junior Championship Kerry put in a great performance before losing to Dublin by 1-12 to 0- 6 in Croke Park on Sunday 9th September  before a nice sizeable Crowd from the Kingdom. Congratulations to the full panel of players captained by a very capable Jackie Horgan and team management. Well done to the Crotta players  Jackie Horgan, Aoife Behan and Megan Weir. The Crotta Hurling Club was represented at the final.

Well done to our U10 Hurlers who won there group in fantastic style at the North Kerry Hurling Blitz held in Caherslee on Saturday morning 8th September . The team had wins over Kilmoyley, Lixnaw, Causeway and hosts Tralee Parnells. The team were a great credit to the green and red and there parents.
