BROTHERS IN ARMS

History will be made at Christy Leahy Park, Tralee on the weekend of 23rd March when no less than three sets of brothers will wear our club’s colours while representing us in their respective National Cup and Trophy Quarter-Finals.
Kyle and Ryan O’Flaherty, James and Eoin Tansley along with Kilflynn boys Rian and Fionn Hannon will line out with their squads at 12’s and 15’s respectively in the last 8 of their National Cup and Trophy competitions. Not sure if this has ever occurred within any other club, but it will make history for St Brendans F.C since our foundation in 1971.
Down the years we have seen many siblings togging out for us. The Dowlings, Naughtons, Mc Cannons, Mc Loughlins, Mc Evoys, Carmodys, Diggins, Whites, Sheehys, Kerins, Leahys, Slatterys, Moriartys, O’Donnells, O’Regans, Scanlons and Cliffords to name but a few, and these boys will add to this list in their own special way as being brothers representing us in National Quarter-Finals. Best wishes to Rian and Fionn and their soccer team mates.
