CROTTA LOTTO RESULTS

Herbert’s Bar, Kilflynn was the venue for the Crotta Hurling Club weekly lotto draw on Monday 15th July. The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw   were 4,12,23 and 24. There was no winner of the 2,800 Jackpot.
Congratulations to the following who won €35 in the lucky dip draw: Mary Stackpoole, Lixnaw, Noreen Clancy, Killmallock, Limerick and Kathleen Hayes, Abbeydorney.
The next draw will take place in Parker’s Pub , Kilflynn on Monday night 22nd July at 10.30p.m with a €2,900 Jackpot.

KERRY SENIOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP

Reigning Garvey’s County Senior Hurling Champions Crotta O’Neills were defeated by Ballyheigue  on the final scoreline of 3-24 to 2-22 after a mighty extra-time battle on Sunday 14th July in Austin Stack’s Park, Tralee in the County Quarter Final. A brilliant and sporting game of hurling. Congratulations to Ballyheigue. Hard luck to the Crotta players and their mentors.

Well done to both Crotta Gaa & Ballyheigue Gaa U7’s players who gave great exhibitions of skill at halftime in the Garvey’s County Senior Hurling Championship quarter final  tie between their senior counterparts on Sunday July 14th in Austin Stack’s Park, Tralee. Thanks to all the coaches and parents for facilitating this and we hope the kids enjoyed their outing. Great work being done by their Coaches.
U5’s player of the week is Jack Nolan; Jack is doing very well each week. Keep up the good work Jack.

ANNUAL PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK OF THE DIOCESE OF KERRY

Our Annual Pilgrimage to Knock will take place on Saturday 24th August. A bus will travel from this Pastoral Area. Cost is €30 per person. There are a few seats still available. If you would like to travel, please contact the Parish Office 066 4018996.

For the first time in their history Kerry, inspired by Jackie Horgan, advanced to the semi-final stage of the Intermediate Camogie Championship.
Horgan struck 0-9 in the win as Kerry got over the quarter-final hurdle at the fourth time of asking, in FBD Semple Stadium, Galway. on Saturday 13th July.
