ACTIVE RETIRED GROUP

The Abbeydorney Kilflynn Active Retired Group will be meeting in the Abbeydorney Parish Community Hall on 24th September at the usual time of 10.30am. An active retired trip has been organised for Wednesday 1st October, we will be travelling to Ardfert Quarry for a tour, and then on to Tralee Golf Club for lunch. CROTTA LOTTO RESULTS

Parker’s Pub, Kilflynn was the venue for the Crotta Hurling Club weekly lotto draw on Monday 15th September, The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw were 2,9,28 and 30. There was no winner of the 4,100 Jackpot.

The home side led at the Half time whistle by  Crotta 4-12 to Tralee Parnells 0-06. Crotta play Abbeydorney or Ballyheigue in the semifinal.
Great win St. Senan’s Finuge  senior ladies footballers  in the quarter final of the Bon Secours County Senior championship.
Final score: Finuge/St Senans 2-10, Dr Crokes 0-11
Onwards they  march to the semifinals in 2 weeks’ time!
