KILFLYNN COMMUNITY TOGETHER

We are delighted to once again be part of Kerry Clean up Day which takes place Saturday 11th April
We will be starting our Kilflynn and surrounding area cleanup in the village @ 10:00am.
It is fantastic to give a good “spring-clean” to our beautiful village and surrounding area in preparation for the busy summer months.
The more people that turn up, the easier the job is for everyone.
We pass through our village on a daily basis, between work, school runs, walking, running, etc! Let’s now show Kilflynn some TLC by coming out and cleaning it up.
As always Kilflynn Community Together greatly appreciates your support.
We will be providing bags, some gloves, and some pickers

ABBEYKILLIX CAMOGIE CLUB

History made for Abbeykillix Camogie Club
On Saturday evening, 28th March marked a truly special milestone in our club’s journey, as for the very first time, an adult (junior) team took to the field to compete in the Kerry Camogie nine-a-side junior league in Crotta, Kilflynn
In only our sixth year of existence, this is a hugely proud moment for everyone involved in Abbeykillix Camogie. A very worthy reward for all the hard work being done behind the scenes.
Our young squad — majority made up of talented U16 and minor players — showed incredible courage, determination, and heart as they faced a strong and experienced Causeway side who have been competing at this level for many years.
It was a fantastic evening of camogie, full of spirit and pride, and a moment that will live long in the memory of our club.
A massive well done to the nine outstanding players who wore the jersey with such pride, representing their team, their parish, and their community so brilliantly.
Next up, the journey continues Our second game takes place this Friday evening away to Killarney in Baraduff, where even more players will make their debut at junior level — a real testament to the strength, depth, and progress of this remarkable group.
The future is bright
