The Cemetery Mass will be celebrated for the departed in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kilflynn on Wednesday, 2nd July at 7.00 pm. Please take this opportunity to tidy up family graves. Please notify friends and relatives of those buried in the Cemetery.

CROTTA LOTTO JACKPOT HITS 3,000

Parker’s Pub, Kilflynn was the venue for the Crotta Hurling Club weekly lotto draw on Monday 23rd June, The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw were 3,6,18 and 30. There was no winner of the 2,900 Jackpot.
Congratulations to the following who won €35 in the lucky dip draw: Jimmy Walsh, Toureen, Kilflynn, Dan Foley, Leith East, Tralee and Jeremiah Clifford, Banna South, Ardfert.
The next draw will take place in Herbert’s Bar, Kilflynn on Monday night 30th June at 10.30p.m with a €3,000 Jackpot.

CROTTA GAA

The Crotta Senior hurlers interested in this year’s Garvey’s SuperValu County Senior Hurling Championship campaign came to an end on Sunday 21at  June against Ballyduff in Austin Stacks Park, Tralee when they  defeated  by two points on the final score of  Ballyduff 1-20 to Crotta 1-18
The team battled until the final whistle, showed heart, and never gave up. … Well done to all the players.

Abbeykillix won the Shield final at the Regional feile finals in Sligo on Saturday 21st June.
After an epic final that went to extra time to decide between Abbeykilix and Mattock Rangers of Louth, Abbeykilix came out as champions.
What a day for this group of girls and their management team and indeed for the club. Congratulations and well done to the players and their management.
Glen Dimplex All Ireland Camogie Intermediate Championship: Kerry 2-20 Kildare 0-4
Kerry crushed Kildare to cruise into the All-Ireland Intermediate Camogie Championship semi-finals as group winners in this one-sided contest played in the Austin Stack Park on Saturday 21st June.  Well done to the Kerry players and their management, especially the Crotta ladies Amy O’Sullivan, Jackie Hogan 0-03 joint captain., and Aoife Behan.
