Crotta GAA are running a video race night in both Herbert’s and Parker’s Bars Kilflynn on Saturday 7th February. First race at 8.00p.m
This will be a very enjoyable night out, while supporting your club and a chance to meet up with friends and neighbours.

Well done to the Causeway Comprehensive School footballers and their management who booked their place in the Munster final on  Thursday 22nd January in Coolard on the final scoreline of Causeway 5-11 to Kilrush 3-11, especially the Crotta player Evan O’Sullivan. We wish them the best of luck in the final
Well done to everyone involved, especially the Crotta players  Ryan Hurley and Cillian Hurley and their Tralee CBS Teammates who booked their place Corn Uí Mhuirí Final on  Saturday 24th January, on the final scoreline CBS The Green : 1-15 (18) to St Francis College Rochestown: 0-7 (7) best wishes in the final lads.

Division 2 campaign on Saturday 24th January against Derry  in Celtic Park

Derry: 0-12. Well done to the Kerry hurlers, especially Crotta hurler Sean McGrath. Kerry host Westmeath in the 2026 Allianz Hurling League Division 2 Round 2 on Sunday 1st February in Austin Stack’s Park, Tralee at 2.00p..m best wishes to the Kerry players and their mentors, especially the Crotta players Jordan Conway and Sean McGrath.
Full -Time in Fitzgerald Stadium in the 2026 Allianz Football League Division 1 Round 1. Kerry 2-18 to Roscommon 1-20. Well done to St. Senan’s/ Crotta player Cillian Trant and his Kerry team mates, Kerry travel to Donegal on Sunday to play the home side in the next round.
Kerry kicked off their Lidl Ladies National Football League campaign with a win over Dublin on  Saturday 24th January in JYSK Park, Round Tower on the final score 2-09 to 0-09!
Well done to everyone involved in the victory, especially our own Niamh Quinn.

CROTTA LOTTO RESULTS

Herbert’s Bar, Kilflynn was the venue for the Crotta Hurling Club weekly lotto draw on Monday 26th January, The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw were 3,20,28 and 30. There was no winner of the 6,000 Jackpot.

FORÓIGE

Foróige wishes to support young people in Abbeydorney by starting a Foróige Youth Club, and we need adult volunteers to make it happen. Foróige Clubs provide space for young people to develop leadership, life skills and have fun. Foróige has three different club types: Foróige Juniors (10-12), Youth Club (12-17) and Special interest (10-17). It is fun, rewarding, exciting and hugely beneficial for all involved. KILLARNEY THEATRE COMPANY
