CROTTA MINOR HURLERS

Congratulations to Crotta Minors who captured the U17 Elevens of Kerry Tournament on Saturday 7th September. The tournament involved teams from eight clubs and was played in Caherslee Tralee.
The lads had tough battles with Firies, Kenmare/ Killgarvan and Kilmoyley before advancing to the semi final where their opposition was Lixnaw. It was a tough battle which went to extra time to decide the outcome. Thankfully the lads did enough to prevail and set up a final spot against Ballyheigue.
The Crotta lads dug deep in the final, playing some lovely hurling and deserved their win against a gallant and sporting Ballyheigue team.
Great credit to all the players particularly with their demanding schedules. We appreciate all the players and parent’s efforts and for facilitating the early mornings, particularly after a busy few weeks back at school.
Thanks to Kerry GDA’s Giles & Colm, referees and of course Ryall Travel for sponsoring the tournament again this year.
Well done to all players involved, Adam Corkery, John Donovan, Tadgh Doran, Ryan Hurley, Aidan Beirne, Thomas Breen, Oisin Heaton, Darren McElligott, Evan O’Sullivan, Alex Relihan, Stephen Shanahan, Diarmuid O’Driscoll, Matt Cronin, Paddy Cronin, Neil Galvin, Cian O’Connor and Fionn Hannon.
