Huge congratulations to our very own Priya O’Donovan Knockacaska, Kilflynn, who received her international cap from Basketball Ireland president Margaret Miley at the National Basketball Arena on Saturday 31st August. Priya plays her club basketball for Tralee Magic’s U16 Girls team, we are all incredibly proud of you, Priya! Keep shining on and off the court!
KILFLYNN VINTAGE CLUB
After a very successful vintage weekend in Kilflynn on 15th and 16th June 2024, Kilflynn Vintage Club were delighted to present our beneficiaries with their cheques on Friday 9th August 9 in Parkers Pub. We were delighted this year to present Down Syndrome Kerry Branch, Jack & Jill Foundation, Rosemary Centre Tralee, Kilflynn National School, Kilflynn Graveyard Committee, and Kilflynn Defibrillator Group. As a club, we are honored to give back to our community and all the hard-working groups that are so deserving of donations. We wish to thank everyone who participated in and attended our rally and those who volunteered their time to assist us, as it is your support that allows us to give back to these worthy causes. Go raibh mile maith agaibh. We are already looking ahead to 2025 for something even bigger and better!

A dynamic five-piece band Rhythm & Sticks hailing from the rich musical landscapes of Cavan and Longford, is taking the folk scene by storm with their high-energy performances, and the return to Parker’s Pub and Venue, Kilflynn on Saturday night 7th September. CROTTA LOTTO RESULTS
Parker’s Pub, Kilflynn was the venue for the Crotta Hurling Club weekly lotto draw on Monday 2nd September, The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw were 2,3,10 and 25. There was no winner of the 3,500 Jackpot.

John was a dedicated, skilful and sporting player throughout his players career and was always on hand to help with underage players from every club went to.
