Praying Sunday Mass online
As we gather at home for our Sunday Mass celebrations online, some suggestions that might help our prayer-time: Create a sacred space where you will sit to attend Mass e.g. using a crucifix or candle or icon, just like you might do if preparing for a house Mass. Invite family members to name a prayer intention that everyone will pray for during the Mass. Stand to hear the Gospel or to join in praying the Our Father, just like you would in church. We are reminded of the words of Jesus – ‘Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in their midst’ – We remember that Jesus Christ is present in our homes as we pray at Mass together.

KERRY HURLERS

Antrim 3-18 Kerry 2-14
The Kerry Senior Hurlers will have one chance left to reach the 2020 Joe McDonagh Cup Final in Croke Park on December 18th following a seven point defeat at the hands of Antrim on Saturday 14th November at St. John’s Corrigan Park in West Belfast.
Fintan O’Connor’s side came unstuck in the opening minutes of a tough and physical clash in which the rain poured down over Belfast for most of the game making hurling conditions difficult for both sides and now have to regroup themselves for a winner takes all clash against Carlow next weekend in Austin Stack Park,Tralee, with nothing only a win needed to secure a Joe McDonagh Cup final place and set up a possible fourth meeting of the year with Antrim. The Crotta Hurling club was represented on the Kerry team by Tomas O’Connor (wingback), Shane Nolan (centrefield) (0-01) and Sean Weir (Sub). We wish the Kerry players and their mentors all the best against Carlow.

KERRY CAMOGIE

The Ragg in Tipperary was the venue for Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Intermediate Camogie Championship Quarter-Final between Kerry and Laois on Sunday 15th November,. Kerry had defeated Carlow after extra time the previous week while Laois had been defeated by Down. Heavy rain had fallen prior to throw-in and this made conditions difficult.
It was heartbreak for Kerry who had extra time battles on two consecutive weekends, and were defeated on a final scoreline of 1-10 to 1-6. However, Kerry can be very proud of their performances at Intermediate level and these certainly bode well for the future of Kerry Camogie. The Crotta Hurling club was represented on the Kerry team by Aoife Behan (Wing Back)  and Jackie Hogan (Centre Forward) (0-2, 0-1 free). Hard Luck to the Kerry team and their management.
