CROTTA LOTTO RESULTS

Parker’s Pub, Kilflynn was the venue for the Crotta Hurling Club weekly lotto draw on Monday 27th  May. The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw   were 18,21,22 and 27. There was no winner of the 2,100 Jackpot.
Congratulations to the following who won €35 in the lucky dip draw: John Howard, Leith East, Tralee, Barry Leen, Kilcaragh Lawn, Lixnaw  and Catherine Godley, Snipefield, Ardfert The next draw will take place in Herbert’s Bar, Kilflynn on Monday night 3rd June at 10.30p.m with a €2,200 Jackpot.

OLD CEMETERY PRAYER EVENING

We have a remembrance evening for all those buried in the old cemetery in Kilflynn village on Wednesday 12th June, at 7 30p.m joining us will be Fr. Jerry Keane and Rev Jim Stevens.
Please join us to recall and honor the memory of our families and Neighbours and all that have gone before us, and those that may no longer have people to remember them.
This gathering will give everybody the opportunity, if they wish, to contribute to the upkeep of the cemetery. Looking forward to seeing you, and others who may be interested in joining our prayer evening. There will be light refreshments afterwards in St Columba’s Centre. In case of unsuitable weather, the ceremony will be held indoors.

Crotta and St. Brendan’s Ardfert served up a draw game on Wednesday evening 22nd May in Credit Union Kerry Senior Hurling League Div 2 Tie on the final score of St Brendan’s 0-14 to Crotta 1-11 at the sports field, Ardfert. Well done to the 16 Crotta players who togged out and their management.

Kerry ended their Joe McDonagh Cup campaign with a victory on Saturday afternoon, 25th May at Austin Stack’s Park, Tralee
The Kingdom beat Meath in Austin Stack Park, Tralee 3-13 to 1-10.
Kerry hurling manager Stephen Molumphy has stepped down from his role after 3 years in charge. The Kerry panel and their management paid a visit to Parker’s Pub and Herbert’s Bar, Kilflynn after the game.
Well done to the Kerry Senior Hurlers and their mentors especially the Crotta players Bill Keane, Tomas O’Connor and Rory Mahony.

Crotta Academy Training (U5 U7 & U9) continues each Sunday morning at the sportsfield, dromakee, Kilflynn. Hurling friendships and enjoyment are the aim of the sessions.
