CEMETERY MASS
The Cemetery Mass will be celebrated for the departed in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kilflynn on Wednesday, 8th July at 7.00 pm. Please take this opportunity to tidy up family graves. Please notify friends and relatives of those buried in the Cemetery.
This is an occasion to gather, pray for and remember our loved ones. Masses will be held in the cemeteries unless the weather is very bad. Thanks to all who help with the upkeep of the cemeteries and the committees who work behind the scenes
CROTTA LOTTO RESULTS
Parker’s Pub in Kilflynn hosted the Crotta Hurling Club’s weekly lotto draw on Monday 6th July. The four numbers drawn from the drum by the independent observer, Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw were 1, 16, 28, and 31. No one won the €8,300 Jackpot.

Annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock takes place on Saturday August 22nd, the Feast Day of the Queenship of Mary. Congratulations to Lauren McCarthy on winning Gold in Girls U-13 Gymnastics at the National finals on Sunday 5th July in Kilkenny, and for representing the Abbeydorney/Kilflynn area with pride.

OLD CEMETERY KILFLYNN – PRAYER EVENING.
A remembrance evening for all those buried in the Old Cemetery in Kilflynn on Monday, 13th July, at 7:00 p.m. Joining us will be Fr. Jerry Keane and Rev. Jim Stephens. This gathering will give everybody the opportunity, if they wish, to contribute to the upkeep of the cemetery. There will be light refreshments afterwards in St Columba’s Centre. In the event of unsuitable weather conditions, the ceremony will be held indoors.

Munster champions Kerry firmly defeated Meath in the TG4 All-Ireland quarter-final, winning by a comprehensive 12 points at a sunny but windy Austin Stack Park in Tralee.Kerry 2-14 to Meath 0-8. Well done to the Kerry players and their mentors, especially Niamh Quinn from Crotta.
Mark Bourke’s Kerry can now look forward to an All-Ireland semi-final where they will play Dublin on July 18th. Well done to all the boys and girls who took part in Tuesday evening’s U6 training session in Crotta on 30th June.
