CROTTA LOTTO JACKPOT HITS €9,000
Parker’s Pub in Kilflynn hosted the Crotta Hurling Club’s weekly lotto draw on Monday 17th August. The four numbers drawn from the drum by the independent observer, Sonny Egan, Garrynagore, Lixnaw were 14, 24, 25 and 32. No one won the €8,900 Jackpot.
Congratulations to the following who won €35 in the lucky dip draw:
Norma Shanahan, Irrabeg, Lixnaw, Paul O’Keeffe, Oakpark, Tralee; and Mairead Long, Abbeydorney.
The next draw will take place in Herbert’s Bar, Kilflynn, on Monday, 24th August at 10:30 p.m. with an €9,000 jackpot.

CROTTA GAA
The Kerry U15 Development squad travelled to Borrisoleigh for the Finals of the John Doyle Cup ‘A’ All Ireland on Saturday 15th August.
Their semi final game against Wexford was a tight affair throughout, but two Wexford goals in the final 10 minutes turning the game in their favour. Full-time score: Wexford 4-12 Kerry 3-10.
The Shield Final against Kildare was another game where little separated the sides, Kerry holding firm at the end with an injury time score securing the win. Full time score Kerry 1-17 Kildare 1-16.
Well done to everyone involved in the victory, especially our own player Jack Kelliher for representing the club all year at Full back.
Kerry Coiste na nÓg County Under 16 Hurling League Final was on Sunday 16th August in Lixnaw.
