Fiadh Moloney became the first baby born in Kerry this year, when Fiadh arrived a little later than expected, at 3.04pm on New Year’s Day, weighing 9lbs and 11ozs to the delight of her parents, Caitriona and Ricky Moloney, Lisanearla, Abbeydorney, and a little sister for Eanna. Caitriona is a daughter of Eileen and Jimmy Walsh, Toureen, Kilflynn. Heartiest Congratulations and best wishes to Caitriona and Ricky, and to the very proud Grandparents Richard Moloney Lisanearla, Abbeydorney and Eileen and Jimmy Walsh.

CROTTA LOTTO JACKPOT HITS €19,000

The quest still continues for a winner of the Big Crotta Hurling Club Jackpot of €18,900.
Due to current Covid-19 guidelines, The Crotta sportsfield, Dromakee, Kilflynn was the venue for the weekly lotto draw on Tuesday 12th January. The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the Independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw were 7,17,18 and 23. There was No winner of €18,900 Jackpot. Congratulations to the following who won €35 in the lucky dip draw: Keira Finucane, Listowel, Mary McQuinn, C/o Mike Neenan, Dromakee, Kilflynn and Theresa Galloway, Ballyheigue.
Due to level 5 Government restrictions The Next draw will take place at The Crotta sportsfield, Dromakee, Kilflynn, on Tuesday 19th  January in compliance with Covid-19 restrictions. Note the cut off for entry to the €19,000 Jackpot draw (online or locally purchased) is 9:30pm on Monday 18th January.
