Extract from Pastoral Message from Bishop Ray Browne.
Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid. Peace I bequeath to you. John 14:
In common with the whole country, we begin six weeks under Level 5 restrictions.
This is key to getting the virus under control once more. As a united, loving, caring people let us give full cooperation to NPHET and our Government.
Level 5 severely restricts our movements: many of our plans are cancelled. Being asked to stay in our own homes as much as possible is very difficult for some. People have great concerns about their employment or business. Together we face these six weeks, supporting and encouraging one another.
Level 5 is due to end on the 1st of December, in time to allow us all celebrate Christmas. The true meaning of Christmas is a true source of hope all year round, and especially as we face the next six weeks.

Due to Covid 19 we have not had our yearly graveyard mass, which would provided us with the required funds. If you would like to donate to complete the covered altar, you may do so by dropping in St. Mary’s Church, Kilflynn at mass time. Or alternatively Parker’s Bar or Herbert’s Bar /Village Store, Kilflynn. Thanking you in anticipation Tom Breen,Bess Cashell, Josephine Whyte or Kathleen Moriarty.
