BAT WALK AND TALK
Kilflynn Nature Garden and the Kerry branch of the Irish WildLife Trust will be holding a Bat Walk and Talk evening on Saturday 22nd October at 7pm in St Columba’s Community Centre. The walk will take place in the Nature Garden following the talk, so please wear suitable clothing and footwear. The event is free with any donations going to the Irish Wildlife trust. CROTTA LOTTO RESULTS
The Crotta hurling club weekly lotto draw was held on Monday 17th October at Parker’s Pub, Kilflynn.
The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw were 16,25,27 and 28.
There was no winner of the 3,600 Jackpot.

Please Donate only clean dry and rewardable clothing as we cannot accept wet, dirty, or damaged clothes or goods. No Duvets. SENIOR HURLERS
Crotta Senior hurlers booked their place in the North Kerry Senior Hurling Championship Final with a victory over a gallant Ballyheigue side by 3-16 to 1-11. Great credit to both teams who played a sporting game in bad weather conditions at the sports field, Dromakee, Kilflynn on Sunday afternoon 16th October. The home side led by 2-08 to 0-09 at the interval break. Referee John Hennessy. Çrotta meet Causeway in the final.

ALL STAR KERRY HURLING TEAM
Congratulations and well done to Crotta Senior hurler Declan O’Donoghue who was selected on the Garvey’s Supervalu Senior Hurling Championship All Star team 2022 at corner forward. Well deserved on a fantastic year for the Garrynagore forward.
A big thank you must also go to Michael O’Halloran (Kerry Hurling News) who coordinated the selection and organised the awards again this year to recognize the hurlers . Congratulations also to all the other players who were selected on the team.

The Kilflynn toddler group meets up every Thursday mornings in St. Columbus Centre, Kilflynn at 10.00-11.30 am. Please come yourself and bring some friends, plenty of toys, laughter, chats and finally that hot cuppa with some sweets.

This really is a relaxed and fun environment. Each person’s targets and goals are their own. Encouragement and companionship are what the group provides.
All abilities and ages are welcome so why not come along to the Kilflynn community walkway at Crotta Gaa, Dromakee, Kilflynn, on Sundays 10am – 11am and Wednesdays 7- 8pm. All we ask is a voluntary €2 contribution for each session with all funds raised being used for Crotta Field Development which provides playing facilities for all GAA teams from U5’s – Senior players within our fantastic community
