Kilflynn Drama Group are back with the hilarious ‘The Two Loves of Gabriel Foley’, a play by Jimmy Keary. The play tells the story of Gabriel Foley, a middle-aged bachelor farmer, who has been unlucky in love and lives with his mother. In a last-ditch effort to find love, and show his mother that he is perfectly capable of finding a woman, he joins a ‘town’ drama group. Meanwhile his housekeeper has been in love with him for years but he is too blind to notice. Will Gabriel find love in his new drama group or see what has been in front of him all along before it is too late? You will have to wait and see! CROTTA LOTTO RESULTS
The Crotta hurling club weekly lotto draw was held on Monday night 18th March, at Parker’s Pub, Kilflynn. The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw were 3,10,13 and 20. There was no winner of the 8,500 Jackpot. Congratulations to the following who won €35 in the lucky dip draw: Fionan Maunsell, Abbeydorney, Padraig Cronin, Irrebeg, Lixnaw and Timothy Quilter, Mountcoal, Listowel.
The next draw will take place in Herbert’s Bar, Kilflynn on Monday night 25th March at 10.30p.m with a €8,600 Jackpot.

The Crotta Senior hurlers continued their 2024 season with a victory over Ballyduff in the County Senior Hurling League Div 1 Round 2 undelights on Friday 15th March at the sports field, Ballyduff on the Full Time score 1-18 to 2-09. The visitors led by 1-11 by 2-03 at the interval break.

KILFLYNN CITY RUNNING GROUP
It’s official the Kilflynn city running group Stacks Mountain half marathon and 10k stacks is back. Put Saturday April 6th in your diary. An event that has it all. Road, trail,grass and spectacular views. All participants will receive a specially commissioned t-shirt and bespoke medal (numbers strictly limited), so why not become part of team #unstoppable .

KERRY SENIOR HURLERS
The Kingdom Senior Hurlers made the journey on Saturday 16th March to Laois Hire O’Moore Park, Portlaoise to play Laois in Round 5 of the 2024 Allianz Hurling League Division 2A and were defeated by Laois 4-20 to 1-19.
The Crotta Hurling Club was represented by Bill Keane (wing back) and Thomas O’Connor, Captain who came on as sub. The next outing for the Kerry Senior hurlers is in the Joe McDonagh Cup against Westmeath on Sunday 21st April. Best wishes to the Kerry players and their management.
