On behalf of the community, we wish the Kerry Senior Footballers and their management the best of luck in the All-Ireland Football final against Donegal on Sunday 27th July in Croke Park.

CROTTA LOTTO RESULTS

Parker’s Pub, Kilflynn was the venue for the Crotta Hurling Club weekly lotto draw on Monday 21st  July, The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Sonny Egan, Garrynagore, Lixnaw were 8,9,15 and 31. There was no winner of the 3,300 Jackpot.
Congratulations to the following who won €35 in the lucky dip draw:  Humphrey Doody, Kilmorna, Listowel, Adam Maunsell Abbeydorney and Mag Moriarty, Connelly Park, Tralee.
The next draw will take place in Parker’s Pub, Kilflynn on Monday night 28th July at 10.30p.m with a €3,400 Jackpot.

The 2025 Keane’s SuperValu Minor Hurling County Championship Semi-Finals will take place on Wednesday evening 23rd July at 7.00p.m Crotta have a home game against Current Champions Ballyduff in Dromakee, while Tralee Parnell’s play Kenmare/ Kilgarvan at 7.00p.m in Kilgarvan. Best wishes to the boys in green and red and their mentors. Admission fee is Adults €8 and Students/OAP’S €5
Kerry’s All-Ireland campaign comes to end after a defeat to Meath in Glenisk O’Connor Park on Saturday 19th July in St Conleth’s Park, Newbridge, Kildare, when they were defeated in the TG4 Ladies All Ireland Senior Football Championship semi-final on the Full Time score Kerry 1-09 to Meath 2-12 hard luck to the Kerry players and their mentors especially Niamh Quinn, Crotta
Well done to Crotta hurlers Eoin Beirne, Daniel Diggins & Jack Kelliher who were part of the Kerry U14 development squad on  Saturday 19th July. Also part of the panel is Bobby Ryan who was unavailable. The Kerry lads were defeated  by Cork and Limerick and a victory over Clare. Well done to all the players involved
Crotta U8’s played very well on  Saturday morning 19th July  at a brilliantly run blitz held be Abbeydorney Hurling Club. Well done to all players, coaches and parents for facilitating the early start. and we avoided the rain.

PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK

The 3rd Annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock will take place on Saturday 23rd August. Please pray for the safety of all pilgrims who travel. Please note the date and consider taking part in this special time of prayer and reflection at Ireland’s National Marian Shrine. A bus will travel from the Pastoral Area. Cost €30 per person.
