There will be a community meeting in St Columbus Centre, Kilflynn on Friday 7th October at 9.00p.m to discuss the ongoing problems with Kilflynn village Sewerage System Failings.

Couch to 5K is back!!!!
So if you are seeking to get out and about, meet new friends and gain a healthier body and mind in the process why not get involved.
This really is a relaxed and fun environment. Each person’s targets and goals are their own. Encouragement and companionship are what the group provides.
All abilities and ages are welcome so why not come along to the Kilflynn community walkway at Crotta Gaa, Dromakee, Kilflynn, on Sundays 10am – 11am andWednesdays 7- 8pm. All we ask is a voluntary €2 contribution for each session with all funds raised being used for Crotta Field Development which provides playing facilities for all GAA teams from U5’s – Senior players within our fantastic community.

The Kilflynn toddler group meets up every Thursday mornings in St. Columbus Centre, Kilflynn at 10.00-11.30 am. Please come yourself and bring some friends, plenty of toys, laughter, chats and finally that hot cuppa with some sweets.

CROTTA LOTTO RESULTS

The Crotta hurling club weekly lotto draw was held on Monday 3rd September at Parker’s Pub, Kilflynn.
The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw were 8,15,23 and 31.
There was no winner of the 3,400 Jackpot. Congratulations to the following who won €35 in the lucky dip draw:

GARVEY’S COUNTY SFC GROUP 4 ROUND 3

Congratulations and well done to the Feale Rangers Senior players and their management especially the Crotta players Cillian Trant (Midfield) (0-01), Barry Mahony (Centre forward) (1-02), Rory Mahony came on a sub (52) and Seán Weir who booked their place in the Garvey’s SuperValu County Senior Football Championship quarter final spot against reigning Kerry SFC champions Austin Stacks at Templenoe on Sunday 25th September when the they defeated the home side on a final score line of  Templenoe 0-10 to Feale Rangers 1-14.
The action will get underway with the clash of Feale Rangers and Austin Stacks in Tralee at 5.30pm on the Saturday evening, with the clash of Dr Crokes and Dingle to follow at 7.30pm. in Austin Stack Park on Saturday, 8th October.
