MUNSTER INTERMEDIATE CHAMPIONSHIP

Munster Intermediate Club Hurling Quarter-Final: Crotta O’Neill’s (Kerry) 1-22 Ferrybank 2-13 (Waterford)
For the first time since 1968 Crotta were in Munster Championship action. Some terrific performances by Nolan, Jordan Conway, Cillian Trant, Rory and Barry Mahony helped the North Kerry club into the penultimate phase of the contest. Leading 1-12 to 1-6 at the short whistle, Congrats and well done to the players and their mentors on their historic victory. Thanks to the green and red brigade who travelled in large numbers.  It’s fantastic to see all the green and red flags flying.
Crotta O’Neills’ reward for winning their Munster Club Intermediate Championship quarter-final against Ferrybank in Ballyagran, Limerick on Sunday 12th November will be the home comforts of Mountcoal next Sunday when they take on Cork’s intermediate champions, Castlelyons, for a place in the provincial final.
The expectation is that the game will be played in Mountcoal – subject to Munster Council approval – as Austin Stack Park is hosting the County IFC final the same day.
