CONFIRMATION

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered to the children of the parish by Bishop of Kerry Dr Ray Browne on Wednesday 25th February at 11.00 a.m. in St. Bernard’s Church, Abbeydorney. Best of Luck to the 16 children from Scoil Treasa Naofa and their teacher Mrs Sinead O’Connell.

CROTTA LOTTO RESULTS

Herbert’s Bar, Kilflynn was the venue for the Crotta Hurling Club weekly lotto draw on Monday 23rd  February, The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw were 2,6,29 and 31. There was no winner of the 6,400 Jackpot.

The Kerry Senior team had a great result as they produced a strong all-round performance to come away with a well-earned 3 points in their Centra National Camogie League Div 2A clash  on  Saturday 21st February at Meath GAA Centre of Excellence, Dunganny
Full Time Score: Kerry 2-10 Meath 1-11
Solid work rate across the pitch along with some excellent scores proved the difference on the day. . The Crotta ladies on the team were Roisin Quinn, Jackie Horgan and Amy O’Sullivan and Aoife Behan (inj)
Focus now quickly shifts to next weekend’s encounter as Kerry take to home soil, this time to face Carlow in Austin Stack Park on Saturday 28th February.  Your support in the stand will be greatly appreciated as we look to build on today’s momentum.
Kerry Senior footballers were victorious in Croke Park  on  Saturday evening  21st February by 1-16 to 1-10.against Dublin in the Allianz Football League. . St.Senan and Crotta player Cillian Trant scored 0-01 for the Kingdom at Wing forward
The Kerry Senior hurlers went down by a point at Laois Hire O’Moore Park on  Saturday 21st February it finished Laois 1-18 Kerry 1-17  in the Allianz Hurling League.  Division 2, round 4. The Crotta Club was represented by Sean McGrath (Full back) and Jordan Conway (Conner Forward)
Kerry have been beaten by Cork in the Lidl Ladies National Football League.
The away side won by 16 points to 8 at Austin Stack Park, Tralee on Sunday 22nd February
Kerry failed to score in the first half, trailing 14 nil at the break. Niamh Quinn, Crotta   played at conner forward for the Kerry side
The Kerry U20 hurlers defeated  Clare on Monday evening 23rd February in Austin Stack Park in the Munster Hurling Development League. The Crotta club was represented by Adam Corkey, Dara Nolan and Evan O’Sullivan with Jerome O’Sullivan manager of the Kerry side. Kerry play Limerick in the next round.
The Crotta Senior hurlers commence their 2026 County hurling League div 1 campaign on Sunday 1st March against Lixnaw at 12 noon in Lixnaw. We wish the best of luck to the Crotta players and their management for the season ahead.
