Herbert’s Bar, Kilflynn was the venue for the Crotta Hurling Club weekly lotto draw on Monday 23rd March, The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw were 13,14,24 and 32. There was no winner of the 6,800 Jackpot.
Congratulations to the following who won €35 in the lucky dip draw: Auty Bonn, Ballymacelligott, Sinead Behan, Rathea and Kathleen Walsh, The Halfway Bar, Glenoe, Listowel.

Commiserations to the Tralee CBS The Green Senior Footballers who came so close to Hogan Cup glory in Croke Park on St
Patrick’s Day. They went out on their shields and performed well, in particular our players involved Ryan and Cillian Hurley. A fantastic experience and a brilliant season, onwards and upwards.

Kerry players: Well done to Cillan Trant who have had an outstanding League campaign with Kerry Senior Footballers and have the League Final to look forward to this Sunday in Croke Park against Donegal . We wish Cillian and his Kerry team mates the best of luck. Great also to see Niamh Quinn, Crotta being ever present for the Kerry ladies Senior Footballers although they had a disappointing result in Armagh last weekend.
Kerry Senior hurlers have been promoted to Division 1B of the Allianz Hurling League. They overcame Meath on Saturday 21st March in Trim by 2-18 to 0-18 to also book their place in next weekend’s final. The Crotta club was well represented on the Kerry team by Sean McGarth at full back, we wish Sean and his Kerry team mates the best of luck in the Allianz Hurling League Div 2 Final on Saturday 28th March in Laois Hire O’Moore Park, at 2 o’clock Laois v Kerry

Kerry are into the Centra Camogie League Division 2A final.
They qualified thanks to a 4-14 to 0-9 victory away to Derry in Ballinascreen on Saturday 21st March. The Crotta ladies on the Kerry panel Amy O’Sullivan, Jackie Hogan, Roisin Quinn and Aoife Behan. Kerry will play Meath in the National League final on Saturday 11th April. Venue TBC.
LEINSTER MHC PHASE 1 (Round 1)
Laois 1-19 Kerry 0-15 The Kerry minor hurlers suffered a seven-point defeat in the Leinster championship bow away to Laois in O’Moore Park on Saturday afternoon. The Crotta club was represented by Darren McElligott at corner forward, with Paddy and Matt Cronin coming on as subs. The Kingdom will now play Carlow in Dr Cullen Park in Round 2 of Phase 1 this Saturday with a provisional throw-in time of 1pm.

The Kerry Under 20 hurlers exited from the race for Leinster ‘Tier 1’ championship with a double score defeat at the hands of Kildare in Hawkfield on Sunday afternoon 22nd March. The defeat means that Kerry now will now have to regroup and prepare for the ‘Tier 2’ championship. The Crotta club was represented by Adam Corkey Goalkeeper and Dara Nolan wing back and Jerome O’Sullivan Manager.

The Crotta club was well represented on the Tralee Cbs panel by Adam Corkey, Stephen Shanahan, John Donovan, Ryan Hurley, Cillian Hurley, Oisin Heaton, Alex Relihan, Aidan Beirne and Diarmuid O’Driscoll.
