KILFLYNN CHRISTMAS CARDS

Delight friends and family with personalized Christmas cards from Kilflynn.
The cards will bring a little more joy to people at Christmas, particularly for those abroad, as it will give them a taste of home and for those still in the locality, the cards are a lovely reminder of the beauty that surrounds us every day. The cards have 7 photos by Mike Parker of Snowy scenes from the Kilflynn Area and were designed by Laura Hartnett Design.

CATAPLA PERFORMING AT PARKER’S PUB 18th DECEMBER

Catalpa folk band

Catalpa are a three-piece Irish Folk and Ballad group hailing from Dublin’s fair city.
With a multitude of original songs under their belt, the band also cover all the favorites that we have grown up listening to and adoring throughout our lives.
The band have been performing together for years around local Dublin Pubs. In the past, they have supported the famous Wolfe Tones in front of 2000 people at the famous Barrowlands in Glasgow. They have also supported the Furey’s and Dublin City Ramblers.
We are delighted to announce that we will have the pleasure of having Capalta in Parker’s Pub on Saturday Night 18th December, a night of sheer excitement is guaranteed for all.
The evening kicks off at 8:00 pm.

This is a socially distanced event, meaning tickets are extremely limited, with tickets going on sale at Parker’s Pub Admission: 15 Euro

ABBEYDORNEY/KILFLYNN ST. VINCENT DE PAUL is part of the Tralee Area which also covers Ardfert, Ballyduff, Causeway, Ballyheigue, Fenit, Castleisland, Knocknagoshel and the entire Dingle peninsula. Each week, we distribute over 60 hampers and over 200 dinners. The type of support we provide is wide ranging, but most often we help families with basics such as food, clothing, heating and education costs. For example, your donation will enable us to once again distribute over 800 food hampers during Christmas Week and over 300 Christmas Day dinners.
Please give what you can to our Annual Christmas Collection next weekend,
Saturday 11th/ Sunday 12th December.
Much of what we do in this community would be simply impossible,

We’re delighted to announce that we are back up and going from Thursday 18th November from 10am to 11.30am in St. Columbas center, Kilflynn!
Please wear your mask and we will aptly space our seating in accordance with covid requirements.

CROTTA LOTTO RESULTS

Herbert’s Bar, Kilflynn was the venue for the Crotta hurling club weekly lotto draw on Monday 6th December The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw were 5,17, 22 and 23.
There was no winner of the 6,400 Jackpot. Congratulations to the following who won €35 in the lucky dip draw:
