STACK’S MOUNTAIN HALF MARATHON AND 10KM
The Stacks Mountain Half Marathon & 10km on Saturday 26th April, starting and finishing in Kilflynn village. This wonderful event is entering its third year and is hosted by Kilflynn City and walking club. This year all proceeds will be shared between St. Terersa’s National School, Crotta Hurling Club and Abbeykillix Camogie Club. There are loads of options on the day from running the half marathon and 10 k routes as well as walking the 10 km route. This year, the 10 km route for runners and walkers is over Tullig, back Ballyrehan and up the green road into Kilflynn village. The half marathon starts at 10am, with our walkers heading off at 10.30am and the 10 km run will start at 11am Event tech t-shirt included, Finishers medal for all participants Trophies for winners Entry: €30 for 10k run/walk & €50 for half marathon Register today: www.kilflynncityrun.net.There will be refreshments in Parkers and venue after the event. CROTTA LOTTO GAA RESULTS
Herbert’s Bar, Kilflynn was the venue for the Crotta Hurling Club weekly lotto draw on Monday 21st April, The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw were 1,16,18 and 26. There was no winner of the 2,000 Jackpot.

County Senior title holders Crotta kept their 100 % record intact with a 0-18 to 0-11 victory over Tralee Parnell’s, Tralee in the Senior Hurling League Div 1 Round 5 on Friday 18th April in Caherslee, Tralee, Crotta play Causeway in the next round.
Full Time in Cedral St Conleth’s Park in Round 1 of the 2025 Joe McDonagh Cup Kerry 1-17 to Kildare 0-19 on Saturday 19th April. Well done to Kerry players and their management especially the Crotta players Shane Nolan, Rory Mahony and Sean McGrath. Kerry are home to Carlow in the next round on Saturday 27th April at 2.00p.m in Austin Stack’s Park, Tralee.
Well done to our u12’s who had two very enjoyable and sporting games with Tralee Parnells Hurling & Camogie Club in Caherslee on Thursday evening 17th April.
Both clubs fielded two 9-A-Side teams with game time for everyone.
