ACTIVE RETIRED GROUP

The Abbeydorney/Kilflynn Active Retired Group will be meeting at Abbeydorney Parish Hall at 9.30 am for our trip out to Ardfert Quarry on Wednesday 1st October. Huge congratulations to our own Jackie Horgan who has been named on the 2025 PwC Camogie Soaring Stars team.
A well-deserved award for Jackie who was very consistent for Kerry in their run to the All-Ireland Intermediate Final.
We also send our congratulations to Aoife Fitzgerald, Rachel McCarthy and Patrice Diggin who were also named on the Soaring Stars team.

Sports Capital Funding:
Crotta O’ Neills are delighted to learn that we have been allocated funding under the recent Kerry Recreation & Sports Partnership, Sports Club Grant 2024 program. This is fantastic news for our club. These funds helped with the purchase of additional playing equipment to meet the growing numbers within the club. Thanks again to KRSP for your valued support to the local community.

Parker’s Pub, Kilflynn was the venue for the Crotta Hurling Club weekly lotto draw on Monday 29th September, The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw were 8,9,20 and 25. There was no winner of the 4,300 Jackpot.=
