SPLIT THE BUCKET

The draw for the October Kilflynn Community Together “Split the Bucket” took place Saturday, 29th October, in Parker’s Pub, Kilflynn. The winner of the October draw was Eimear Lynch, Rea, Kilflynn. The Bucket total was €228 and the split was €164. Congratulations to Eimear.
Thank you all for the great response and support. Eileen Brennan, Rea, Kilflynn drew the winning ticket. Funds raised will be used for projects that will benefit and improve Kilflynn. Your support is greatly appreciated. The next draw for the Kilflynn Community Together “Split the Bucket” will take place Saturday, 26th November in Herbert’s Bar, Kilflynn @ 10:00pm.
Get your entries in (as many as you like) before Saturday night 26th November! It could be your lucky Night! We have buckets at various businesses around Kilflynn: –Parkers Pub, Herbert’s Bar and Zam Zam Kebab.
The concept of the draw is simple, simply place your €2 into the envelope at the venue, write your name and phone on the envelope and you could possibly ‘split the bucket!’

CLOTHING DRIVE

St. Teresa’s National School, Kilflynn are holding a clothing recycling drive fundraising.
Please donate all your clean unwanted clothes, shoes, bed linen, curtains towels, bags, belts, and soft toys. Please Donate only clean dry and rewearable clothing as we cannot accept wet, dirty, or damaged clothes or goods. No Duvets. Drop your bags to the Crotta Hurling Club house, Dromakee, Kilflynn (Eircode V92 NW92) Started on Monday 3rd October, last day for drop off is Sunday 6th November between the following hours 10.00a.m to 8.00p.m. 7 days a week. Thank you for your support and taking the time and effort to support our fundraising drive.

CROTTA LOTTO RESULTS

The Crotta hurling club weekly lotto draw was held on Monday 31st October at Parker’s Pub, Kilflynn.
The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw were 2,22,23 and 25.
There was no winner of the 3,800 Jackpot. Congratulations to the following who won €35 in the lucky dip draw:

North Kerry Under 16 A hurling championship play off
Crotta/Kilmoyley 2-11 Ballyduff 1-12 after extra time. Well done to the Crotta/Kilmoyley players and their mentors.
The Semi Final draw for next Fridays  (4th November) Tom Healy U-15 Hurling Competition sees Tralee Parnells play Crotta in Semi Final 1. St Brendan’s Ardfert  v Lixnaw in Semi Final 2. Best wishes to The Crotta players and their management.

KILFLYNN CITY RUNNING GROUP

Couch to 5K is back!!!!
So if you are seeking to get out and about, meet new friends and gain a healthier body and mind in the process why not get involved.
This really is a relaxed and fun environment. Each person’s targets and goals are their own. Encouragement and companionship are what the group provides.
All abilities and ages are welcome so why not come along to the Kilflynn community walkway at Crotta Gaa, Dromakee, Kilflynn, on Sundays 10am – 11am and Wednesdays 7- 8pm. All we ask is a voluntary €2 contribution for each session with all funds raised being used for Crotta Field Development which provides playing facilities for all GAA teams from U5’s – Senior players within our fantastic community
