U-12 HURLING BLITZ

The Crotta Sportsfield in Dromakee was awakened on Saturday morning 16th July to the sounds of U12 hurlers from Ballyheigue, Ballyduff, Ardfert, Abbeydorney & Crotta who were taking part in a North Kerry hurling blitz. It was Fantastic to see so many kids and parents out enjoying our national sport on the eve of the All Ireland Final. Like the sunshine the standard of hurling on display was delightful. Huge thanks to all players and parents for making this morning possible. Thanks to all parents who provided refreshments and for looking after everybody with cool drinks and nibbles. Sincere thanks to John Ross and Tommy Guerin for referring and guiding the players during the games. Finally, a huge thank you to all mentors and volunteers involved with each team. Your efforts and involvement are invaluable in keeping the young kids involved in sport. Being involved with your club and working with kids is just as important as the guys parading the side lines of Sunday’s All Ireland between Limerick and Killkenny in Croker. Well done everybody, looking forward to our next outing.
