The 3rd Annual Diocese of Kerry Pilgrimage to Knock – Pilgrims travelling from Abbeydorney please meet in front of the church at 7.00 a.m. on Saturday 23rd August. There are still some seats available on the bus, cost €30. Ceremonies commence at 2.00 p.m. and conclude around 4.30 p.m. Please contact the parish office on 066 4018996 if you have any queries. NORTH KERRY HURLING BOARD
The film documentary ‘100 years of North Kerry Hurling’ will be shown at the Rose Hotel, Tralee on this Saturday, 23 August.
Proceedings will get underway at 8.00pm
This 50-minute documentary was commissioned by the North Kerry Hurling Board as part of its Centenary events programme to record the reminiscences of a wide range of people who have been involved in hurling over many years and to track the development of the games, field developments and coaching in the area.

Parker’s Pub, Kilflynn was the venue for the Crotta Hurling Club weekly lotto draw on Monday 18th August, The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw were 11,22,28 and 31. There was no winner of the 3,700 Jackpot.
