AED Training will take place on Saturday May 11th in St. Teresa’s NS Kilflynn. The course is certified by the Irish Heart Foundation and valid for two years. Cost e35.00 per person. Anyone who wishes to train please contact Gerry 0872266495

KILFLYNN CITY RUNNING GROUP

Due to an orange weather warning, we regret to inform you that the event date has been changed. Your safety is our priority, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. The rescheduled date is now Saturday, 20th April, 2024.
Thank you for your understanding. The 10km route is also open to walkers. The half-marathon starts at 10am and the 10km race/walk kicks off at 11am from Kilflynn village www.kilflynncityrun.net. The half marathon costs €50 and the 10km costs €25. All participants will receive a specifically commissioned t-shirt and medal. Food and refreshments will be available afterwards. All proceeds raised through this event are in aid of St. Columba’s Community Centre Kilflynn.
Now that Storm Kathleen has gone on her merry way, it’s all systems go in Kilflynn as we are gearing up to welcome you to Stack’s Mountain Half-Marathon and 10km on 20th April, 2024.

The Crotta Leisure Cyclists are now back on the road for the summer season. Cycling every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 6.30 p.m. and Sundays at 10:30 a.m. from Barry’s Crotta. CROTTA U5’s

Crotta U5’s will be returning to hurling training on this Sunday April 14th at the sportsfield, dromakee, Kilflynn and will continue weekly each Sunday 10 – 10:40am throughout the spring/ summer months. Everybody is welcome to come along and enjoy a relaxed and fun environment. Sport is fantastic for all of us and this is a brilliant community amenity to help develop the children’s physical and social skills. And we haven’t forgotten Mom & Dad either… As once the kids are happy and are being looked after by our Fully Garda Vetted coaches, parents/ guardians can avail of the Community Walkway which loops around our facilities. CROTTA LOTTO RESULTS

The Crotta hurling club weekly lotto draw was held on Monday night 1st April  at  Parker’s Pub, Kilflynn. The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw were 4,10,28 and 32. There was no winner of the 8,700 Jackpot. Congratulations to the following who won €35 in the lucky dip draw: Jessica Cronin, Knocknacaska Kilflynn, Adrian Keane, Glenballyma, Kilflynn and Darragh Kennelly, Rathea, Listowel. The next draw will take place in Herbert’s Bar, Kilflynn on Monday night 8th  April at 10.30p.m with a €8,800 Jackpot.
