CROTTA GAA LOTTO RESULTS
Due to current Covid-19 guidelines, The Crotta sportsfield, Dromakee, Kilflynn was the venue for the Crotta hurling club weekly lotto draw on Tuesday 20th July. The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw were 3,4, 13 and 21.
There was no winner of the 4,400 Jackpot.

KERRY MINOR HURLERS
Great effort this on Wednesday evening 14th July by these young @Kerry_Official lads in the @MunsterGAA minor hurling championship despite finally going down to @tipperarygaa. The Crotta club Was well represented by Sean McElligott at full forward scoring a point. Well done, Sean.

WEEKEND MASSES – we will operate on a first come basis. There will be no booking. Sunday obligation will continue to be suspended for some time yet. As before, people can come to Mass on a weekday rather than a Sunday. Some of the oldest among us may return to Mass because they are now fully vaccinated. Funerals remain private family events and the maximum number that may attend a funeral is 50 people, regardless of the size of the church. Weddings The maximum number of people that may attend a wedding is 50 people, regardless of the size of the church. Baptisms already booked may go ahead. Numbers attending with immediate family members only, but not more than ten. . In Abbeydorney the number is 100 made up ‘2 pods of 50’ while Kilflynn can accommodate up to 70. Face coverings/face masks must be worn. Social distancing guidelines must be adhered to.
KERRY SENIOR HURLERS
Despite a brave performance, it was disappointment for the Kerry hurlers on Saturday 17th July as they were defeated by Westmeath in the Joe McDonagh Cup final in Croke Park on a score of 2-28 to 1-24. The half time score was Kerry 0 – 14 Westmeath 2 – 16. The game was shown live on RTÉ2 as a curtain raiser to Leinster SHC final between Dublin and Kilkenny.
The Crotta Club was represented by Tomas O’Connor (Wing back), Shane Nolan (Mid field) (0-02), Barry Mahony (Wing Forward) 0-02 and Donal Hunt was also members of the Kerry panel.

KERRY U-20 HURLERS
Kerry U-20 Hurlers were defeated by Clare in the Munster Quarter final at Austin Stack’s Park by 2-20 to 0-15 on Monday 12th July. The Kerry showed some pride in the second half, with Clare leading by 2-15 to 0-05 at half time. The Crotta hurling club was represented by Declan O’Donoghue who came on as sub and Dermot Ryan was a Selector for the Kerry Side.
RADIO MARIA
Radio Maria is an Irish Catholic Radio station that has grown in strength and popularity in recent years. It broadcasts Mass, Rosary, Divine Mercy Hour etc daily. It has many interesting programs. Many people tune in to pray with them. The easiest way to tune in is via the television, Saorview channel 210, (if you go forward one channel from RTE1 you get RTE2, if you go back one from RTE1 you get Radio Maria).
