KILFLYNN ENCHANTED FAIRY FESTIVAL
As the dust settles on another tremendously successful festival on Sunday 29th June- our 11th – we would like to take a moment to acknowledge the huge support we are so grateful for from local Volunteers and land owners.
Firstly We would not be able to stage this annual event without the huge number of volunteers that dress up in character costumes/ticket sellers/parking stewards and anyone else that lends a hand – it is all noticed and appreciated – thank you all.
Secondly, we are once again indebted to the Power, Fitzmaurice, McElligott, Shea.
Costello and Flaherty families for offering up their lands to allow the creation of the Trail and parking infrastructure that is so vital to the staging of our festival – thank you very much.
Lastly it cannot be emphasised enough the huge effort a small committed hard working committee put into putting the whole festival together-they are an absolute pleasure to work with and it is their hours of hard work that they put in that makes the whole festival such an enjoyable one.
Our unique festival stands out as we prioritize benefiting others over profits, focusing on promoting outdoor play, connection, positive mental health, and imagination.
Despite facing funding challenges, we manage to donate yearly. This year, will again support local charities and community groups-beneficiaries to be confirmed later.
We finished our 2024 festival recognising the huge contribution Edel Lawlor and Pearl had made to the festival over the last 11 years and looking forward to an even bigger, more wonderful 12th festival in 2026.
