SPLIT THE BUCKET

The next draw for the Kilflynn Community Together “Split the Bucket” will take place Saturday, 4th February in Herbert’s Bar, Kilflynn @ 10:00pm. Get your entries in (as many as you like) before Saturday night 28th January! It could be your lucky Night! We have buckets at various businesses around Kilflynn: Parker’s Pub, Herbert’s Bar and Zam Zam Kebab.

Feast of Presentation (Candlemas) Thursday 2nd February. Candles will be blessed at 10.00 a.m. Mass on Wednesday in Kilflynn and at the Thursday Mass in Abbeydorney.  Candles €7 of pack of 6 available from Parish Office. Collection for Lourdes Helpers next weekend 4th /5thFebruary.  This collection is the only way of obtaining funding in 2023. Many of the Helpers are students and need help to finance the trip. The Lourdes Helpers Fund also assists pilgrims who could not pay the full fare. Your generous support will be greatly appreciated.

The death has occurred of Dan O’Shea Knocknacaska, Kilflynn and formerly of Kevin Barrys Villas, Tralee on Sunday 15th January On behalf of the community, we offer our sincere sympathy to his wife Nora and his sons, Daniel, Maurice, David, his daughters, Lorna and Jacinta, grandchildren Éabha, Gearóid, Kate, Emma and Edie, brothers Jerry and Richard, sister Nora, sons-in-law Liam, Ger and Willie, daughter-in-law Fiona, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

CROTTA HURLING CLUB SOCIAL

The Crotta Gaa Hurling Club  Social will take place on Saturday night 18th February at Ballyroe Heights Hotel, Tralee. Music by Martin Williams followed by Disco. CROTTA LOTTO RESULTS

The Crotta hurling club weekly lotto draw was held on Monday 30th January at Herbert’s Bar, Kilflynn.
The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw were 8,13,22 and 28. There was no winner of the 2,600 Jackpot.Congratulations to the following who won €35 in the lucky dip draw: Maurice McAuliffe, Willowbrook, Killarney Road, Abbeyfeale, Fr. Denis O’Mahony, Abbeydorney P.P and Cora and Amber Long, Abbeydorney.
The next draw will take place in Parker’s Pub, Kilflynn. on Monday 6th February at 10.30p.m with a €2,700 Jackpot.

The Annual Convention of the North Kerry Hurling Board was held on Thursday, 26th January. It was hosted by the Crotta O’Neill’s Club at the St. Columba Centre, Kilflynn.
