Calling all budding Artists!! The Community Games Art Competition is now up and running!!
Age groups u-8, u-10, u-12, u-14 and u-16.
Please include name, date of birth and contact number on the back of the picture.
Closing date for entires is Wednesday April 20th and they can be dropped to Dillanes shop Abbeydorney and to Parkers Bar Kilflynn.

KERRY SENIOR HURLERS

The result from Austin Stack Park and it’s a winning start for Down in the 2022 Joe McDonagh Cup.
Full time score: Kerry 0-18 Down 1-19.
The Crotta Hurling club was represented on the Kerry panel by Sean Weir who came on as a sub, and Jordan Conway (Sub).
Kerry travel to Carlow in Round 2 of the 2022 Joe McDonagh Cup on Saturday 23rd April at 1.00p.m at Netwatch Cullen Park.  Best of luck to the Kerry players and their management, especially the Crotta hurlers.

CROTTA COISTE NA NOG

would like to congratulate Mathew Quilter who competed in the Irish Dancing World Championships on Sunday 10th April in Belfast and came 4th. That’s 4th in the World people. Breathing . Mathew is multitalented and is equally breath-taking on the playing fields for St St. Senans GAA & Crotta Gaa.

CROTTA SENIOR HURLERS

Crotta Senior Hurlers had  a 2-20 to 3-10 victory over Ballyheigue on Friday evening 15th April in the sportsfield, dromakee in round 5 of the County Senior league div 1. Crotta will travel to Killarney on Friday evening 22nd April at 7.00p.m for round 6 of the county league div 1  at Dr. Crokes Pitch.

THE WEEKLY DART’S TOURNAMENT

The weekly Darts Double Tournament winners in Parker’s lounge bar, on Friday night 15th night April, were Jason Nolan and Francis Keane who defeated Adam O’Sullivan and Tony Mulvihill in the final. The winners received a voucher for Terry’s Butcher shop, Tralee. Thanks to the darts players who showed up on time last Friday night.
The Next Darts tournament will take place on Saturday night 23rd April in Parker’s at 9.30p.m. All names in for 9.15p.m Sharp. The winners of the weekly darts will receive a voucher each for Brendan Mahony’s butcher shop, Listowel.

Hard luck to Kerry Camogie players who were defeated by Cork Camogie in Pairc Ui Caoimh on Sunday 17th April in Munster Intermediate Championship final on the final score  Cork 1-15 – Kerry 2-8, especially the Crotta players Jackie Horgan and Amy O’Sullivan  we be proud of the Kerry girls they were magnificent and tried to the very end – losing Patrice didn’t help and Danielle played her second final in a week, this was a brilliant advertisement for Kerry Camogie as it a curtain raiser to CorkGAA v @LimerickCLG Senior Munster Championship game, with victory going to Limerick.

CROTTA LOTTO RESULTS

The Crotta hurling club weekly lotto draw was held on Monday 18th April at Parker’s Pub, Kilflynn.

The Four numbers drawn out of the drum by the independent observer: Graham Harris, Clounsillagh, Lixnaw were 7,11, 17 and 28.
There was no winner of the 8,300 Jackpot. Congratulations to the following who won €35 in the lucky dip draw:
